Do we require insurance when renting a storage unit?

No, but renters insurance is highly recommended. Some homeowner’s insurance policies may cover storage rentals but you will need to verify. We offer several levels of tenant protection that will fit your needs.

How do I pay my bill online?

Navigate to the top of our website, and you will see a button that says “Pay Bill.” Click this button to login to your account or create a new account. From here, click on the storage unit in your account that you wish to pay. You can also choose to prepay for your upcoming month’s bill or set your card to auto-pay each month.

Can I rent short term?

Yes, our storage facility offers convenient month-to-month rental arrangements. Stop-Lock-N-Roll Self Storage will never require a long-term contract. Rent for a month, a few months, or find your long-term storage solution with us.

What discounts do you offer?

Currently, our storage facility offers storage locker discounts for Active-duty/Veteran military members and first responders (Law enforcement, Firefighter of EMT). Once I.D. has been verified, you will receive 10% off monthly rent. Thank you for your service! 

Do you have truck rentals?

YES! We are proud to be your local U-Haul dealer. We offer both intown and one-way truck rentals to meet anyone’s moving needs.

Can I access my storage unit at any time?

No, but our storage facility does offer gate access outside of normal business hours. Our storage facility’s gate hours are 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week. Stop in at any time!

What can I store in a storage unit?

A few examples of items that CAN be kept in self-storage include:

  • Household Items: Furniture, appliances, home decor, electronics, clothing, books and magazines, artwork, keepsakes and collectibles, musical instruments, moving boxes, etc.
  • Business Items: Retail inventory, contracting tools and equipment, business documents and files, construction materials, company cars and work trucks, etc.

A few examples of items that CANNOT be kept in self-storage include:
  • Living Things: Animals, plants, yourself.
  • Perishable Items: Boxed food, refrigerated food, frozen food, spices, pet foods of any kind, etc.
  • Hazardous Items: Drugs, ammunition, gas, propane tanks, car batteries, mothballs etc.

How secure is self-storage?

Stop-Lock-N-Roll Self Storage offers secure storage units, thanks to our many security features. We utilize the following security measures to help protect our self-storage customers and their belongings:

  • Video Surveillance: With video cameras monitoring our self-storage property, we’re able to review and share reports of theft or property damage with the authorities.
  • Electronic Gate Access: Not only is our facility fenced in, but we utilize gate and building keypads to restrict access. Each customer receives a personalized access code so that the facility manager can monitor who enters the premises.
  • Security Access to Your Climate-Controlled Unit: Our Climate-Controlled (interior) Units are only accessible via your secure, personalized electronic code to that building.

Do I need to pay a deposit or other fees?

To help you save even more, you can rent a storage unit online with a credit card and a one-time $20 administration fee. If renting in person we accept all major credit cards or cash and the one-time $20 administration fee. Your rental will be month-to-month with no contract.
